LECKHAMPTON HILL

DESCRIPTION + /

The earthwork remains of an Iron Age hillfort or promontory fort enclosing about 7 acres, defined by a rampart and ditch or quarried scarp edges. Roman and Medieval finds as well as Anglo -Saxon Coins have been found at the site in addition to Iron Age material.
