MONUMENT NO. 229179

DESCRIPTION + /

Bronze Age bowl barrow on Hackpen Hill. It is 21m in diameter and 1.4m high. There is a depression in the top which is thought to be the result of unrecorded antiquarian investigation. There is a slight depression 3m wide to the western side which may be the remains of the quarry ditch. Scheduled. It is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs.
