MONUMENT NO. 425099

DESCRIPTION + /

The remains of a round barrow on Godrevy headland. It has been sectioned and found to have been severely damaged by the insertion of a telegraph pole. A Meoslithic flint-chipping floor was found beneath the barrow. A Roman penannular bronze brooch has also been recovered. This dates from the 1st to the 3rd centuries and is believed to be on loan at Truro museum.
